I haven't played R3E in a while and saw there was a new update with "better FFB". I followed the instructions and deleted my profile and made a new one. Now the force feedback is very poor. It mostly rattles and does not communicate lack of grip very well. Does anyone have new G29/920 FFB settings post update?

Persistent microstutter Fanatec gear
Hey. I get this annoying persistent microstutter. After looking around online I found a solution which is to delete my controler profile. However, after a while the microstutter returns... Is there a permanent fix for it? It makes this game really annoying to play as all of a sudden I lose control of everything. Even the wheel gets light sometimes. It also happens in menus so it seems to point to the controller problem.

Thrustmaster TX/T300 settings
Currently running the stock present and finding there is way too many canned affects and noise coming through the wheel for my liking.
From my knowledge, asides from the slip angle and engine is there any other canned effects I can eliminate?
I tried the wtcr Audi around hockenhiem national and it just felt odd in a straight line....the only thing I could compare the feeling to in rl is driving a vehicle with lockers that are slipping on a loose surface.

Ai braking points vs player braking points
So I've had a play around with this tonight, getting a feel for a few different cars and tracks. Had a go of one of the new touring cars, the M235i, Porsche GT3 to name a few. Each time I was racing against adaptive ai - now I'm way out of practice and nowhere near fast but one thing I've noticed is the ai seem to be able to stop way faster than me? So many times I've clipped the back of an ai car because I just can't stop even when I start braking before they do. Is this just me and my poor...

Memory Issues Post Update
Since the last update I am having massive slow down in practice and race session (single player).
The session turns ultra slow. And when I exit R3E My Windows O/S is locked up.
I have to sign out and login again to use Windows 10 desktop.
Never had this issue prior to most current Race Room update.
I run PCARS. PCARS2, ACC, AC and R-Factor 2. They all run at 64bit and I have no issues.
Do I need to modify any files for memory usage? I have not overclocked my system.
PC Specs: RAM 16GB...

Chicken attitude or no skills on the [5]Ranked server?
I have tried some 20min races on the [5]Ranked server for the FR90xx Cup cars - but have been pretty disappointed of the lousy quality my few opponents have shown.
Its ofcourse a problem that there is very low participation in this class - but when somebody turns up then they have until now shown completely no skills.
Sometimes if they even does try to set a qual time they suddenly leave when my qual time is displayed on their screen.![:rolleyes:]( "Roll Eyes :rolleyes:")
But what is more common is they dont care to...

I'm running the SimSteering V2 Direct Drive, and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions about quality settings I could try please?

Program to assign points to all cars in championship?
Hi everyone. I have looked around everywhere I can think of for an app or program to score points for every car in the race for an overall championship, not just the top finishers in a race. If anyone knows of an app or program that can do this, I'd appreciate a link to it. Thanks, Jack

I recently bought Raceroom which I love but the AI "Aggressive" setting (I think that's what they call it) is insane. Low setting and they are pretty dam nasty. High setting I'd hate to see what it's like. They'd probably throw a bomb at you.
Is there anyway to disable this function. It's a bit on the ridiculous side, and that's on low. Thanks

Today I had an interesting experience
So, today I was home alone and decided to fire up r3e. The missus was out, I had some procrastinating to do so I on I went.
I didn't feel like racing but more like hotlaping and discovered that the 3rd heat of the ADAC GT Masters was on. So, Nurburgring short track, picked up the Audi R8 (my current favourite GT3 car) and off I went. I must've done about 40 laps, stock setup and my objective morphed from, doing a couple of laps to break the 1:30 barrier which I almost did (1:30.154). The...

Thoughts after watching the comparing video of rF2, Dirt, Grid, Raceroom and AMS2.
I know you cant deduce much from some videos uploaded by a fast talking Youtuber - but taking from the videos it looks like the old DX9 Raceroom does offer a lot more crisp and sharp picture compared to the other pretty unsharp and hazy looking games.
But after watching the video I thought that as much I know about the Reiza sims then they have a lot more working setup parameters than as example the puristic...

Huge issue - help please
So I am home and since this morning I can't connect to www.racedepartment.com any raceroom website and the game it self has error 101.
Reseted router, installed new R3E + steam tried multiple browsers and laptops talked with provider and on their end router works fine etc..
All other websites are good and also so far ACC.
Reseted cash, temp files and did some cleaning cmd found on the internet also a tracker.
I can't change IP address and provider...

How to get in touch with the locked servers.
When Raceroom does display the available MP servers there is a lot which is locked so you need a password.
In Racerooms MP menu there is no way to get in touch with these servers.
And when I have tried to google the names of the servers I have until now not been able to locate an email adress or something from even one of them.
How do you get in contact with the guys on these servers?
